Beadphoria had the pleasure of attending the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) show here in Chicago. While there, we got to meet up with Amy Anderson of Plaid crafts. Amy was someone we had known from her blog at Mod Podge Rocks!, which is always filled with inspirational ideas.
At the Booth, Ashley Peszek and I noticed a product that we had heard about but never seen, Mod Podge Dimentional Magic. Amy was happy some projects that were made with it, including several jewelry pieces. After the show, Amy was kind enough to send us a sample bottle to play with.
As soon as the package arrived, Ashley and I ran over to Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts to pick up some bezels, scrapbooking paper, buttons, and stickers to make our projects. First, we cut our paper to fit the bezels and then sealed the paper with regular Mod Podge. Then we took the buttons and cut the shanks off the back to make them lay flat. Ashley added some stickers to her design to give it some extra bling. Once we were happy with our designs, we poured the Dimensional Magic into the bezels and let it dry overnight.
Needless to say, we were very happy with our results! Mod Podge Dimensional Magic is a great alternative to resin with no smell and a relatively short drying time. We at Beadphoria highly recommend it!
