Here at Beadphoria, we are anticipating June not only for the warmer weather, but for the Bead and Button Show June 6-13, 2010 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Registration is now open with over 600 classes to choose from. Special event tickets for the Meet The Teacher reception, Lampworking Madness, and Bead Social and Auction Night are also available.
There are several classes with new techniques to expand every beader’s knowledge. Jewelry Making with Ferido™ teaches students to use a two part epoxy that handles like clay. Tonia Davenport is offering several classes using the unusual material plexiglass for jewelry making. I am taking the class Photo Pendants Under Glass taught by Susan Wade to finally learn how to use a soldering iron.
Since stringing has always been a passion of mine, I am excited to be taking Beadalon and Crystallized™ – Swarovski Elements Presents: Pacific Rain Necklace taught by Katie Hacker. Katie is an excellent teacher. Her projects always come out gorgeous! Another reason I am looking forward to this class is that Ashley Pezsek and Carol Einfeldt of Beadphoria will be attending the class with me.
What classes will you be taking at this year’s show?
