Instructor helping a student at the Bead and Button Show

By: Suzann Sladcik Wilson

The remarkable beading and jewelry making instructors are another reason Beadphoria will be taking classes at the Bead and Button Show from May 31 – June 7 2009. It seems the Who’s Who of the beading and jewelry making industry come to teach.

Beading author and Beads, Baubles, and Jewels TV contributor Katie Hacker will be there with classes sponsored by Beadalon and Swarovski Crystal. Diane Fitzgerald, renowned for her excellence with seed beads, will be teaching 5 classes, with some are already sold out!

Want to expand you mind with a new technique? Anne E. Mitchell, Teacher of the Year for 2009, has classes in fine silver fusing and chain mail jewelry making. Ceramic bead artist Jennifer Heynen of Jangles imparts her wisdom on kiln buying and how to make ceramic jewelry making beads.

Lisa Niven Kelly of Beaducation.com will expand your creativity by mixing jewelry making techniques by using metal and glass. Barb Switzer, editor of Simply Beads Online, brings her amazing talent of combining wire and beads to share.

Learning from them is like having a hands-on with a Master. Beadphoria’s experience is that the beading and jewelry making instructors are always open to questions and teach in a way that makes the most timid of beginners leave feeling like a pro.

To register for classes, go to www.BeadandButtonShow.com. I would love to hear what instructors you are looking forward to learning from.
