We here at Beadphoria™ are coming up on one of the most wonderful times of the year. It involves visiting friends, shopping, and lots of bright and shiny things. No, Virginia, it’s not Christmas, but the Bead and Button show in Milwaukee, WI May 31 – June 7, 2009.

After 17 years of beading, I, Suzann Sladcik Wilson, went to the show for the first time.  Christmas is the only thing I can compare it to. Like a busy mall the week before the holidays, the throng of people is almost dizzying with 13,000 people from 50 states and 40 countries. You can almost feel the pulse of excitement from each and every one of them. All of them are there for one thing, the joy of beading.

There are three main reasons Beadphoria goes to the Bead and Button show; for the classes, the shopping, and the events. In this blog series Suzann Sladcik Wilson will be introducing the Bead and Button show to new comers and giving some tips to the seasoned veterans. You can find information about the show on their web site at www.BeadandButtonShow.com
